Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a theft of a tractor and golf cart in North Dundas

On October 3, 2018 at approximately 11:22am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a Kubota RTV and a Golf cart from a Business on Sandy Row Road, North Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight October 1-3, 2018 an orange Kubota RTV and a blue Club Cadet Golf cart was removed from the property.

On October 1, 2018 at approximately 12:13pm, Stormont Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a break in at a business on Highway 138, South Stormont, Ontario.

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight culprit(s) entered the business (Mama Bear’s Chip Stand) and removed Canadian currency from the location.

Stolen Construction Equipment – Sept 10,18

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a theft of a plate packer from Cornwall Gravel on September 10, 2018

The Morrisburg Ontario Provincial Police are currently investigating the theft of a 2009 Wacker DPU 6055, VIN: 148927, Unit #724 – Construction equipment. The construction equipment was stolen between September 10 2018 1700HRS – September 11 2018 0530HRS.

Estimated value: $12,000

Stolen ATV’s – Sept 10,18

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a theft of ATV’s and chainsaws in South Stormont

On September 10, 2018 at approximately 10:36am, Stormont Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of two ATV’s being taken from a property on Collins Road, South Stormont Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime in the previous days a 2007 black Yamaha YFM70 ATV with Quebec Licence Plate (VM39118) and a 2004 Red Honda TRX65 ATV with Quebec plate VP75012 were removed from the property.

The culprits also stole three chainsaws ( Husqvarna and 2 Stihl chainsaws) from the location

On August 24, 2018 at approximately 10:46am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a residence on Fred Street, North Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight culprit(s) entered a garage and removed several packages of frozen meat. An investigation continues.

On August 24, 2018 at approximately 3:40pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a residence on Christie Lane, North Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime between August 19-20, 2018 culprit(s) entered a garage and removed several packages of frozen meat. An investigation continues.

On August 24, 2018 at approximately 3:47pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a residence on Annable Road, North Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime between August 18-23, 2018 culprit(s) entered a garage and removed alcohol and a Harley Davidson cooler. An investigation continues.

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight culprit(s) entered a garage and removed various alcoholic beverages, a cooler(red) and two mountain bikes described as one grey in colour, and the other red and grey in colour and one red gas jerry can. An investigation continues.

Fail to Remain – Aug 14,18

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Cornwall Community Police Service are asking for information about a fail to remain following a pedestrian being struck

The Cornwall Community Police Service Traffic Unit is currently investigating a matter where a motor vehicle struck a pedestrian and is asking the public to come forward if they have any information about this incident.

Shortly after 9:00 pm on August 14th, 2018, a man was struck by a vehicle on McConnell Avenue, north of the Highway 401 overpass. The vehicle then failed to stop at the scene and fled the area. As a result of being struck, the man was transported to the hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

Fail to Remain – July 31,18

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a fail to remain following a collision at Francis Fuels in Winchester

On July 31, 2018 at approximately 7:37am, SD&G OPP responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on County Road 38 in the Town of Winchester, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that at 5:00am a Red Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck (early 1990’s model) struck a garage at a business (Winchester Francis Fuels) and fled the scene.

Damage should be evident to the front passenger side of the vehicle.  A white male in his twenties wearing a ball cap was observed driving the vehicle. No injuries resulted.

Assault – Farmer John’s Party – July 29,18

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about an assault that occurred at Farmer John’s Summer Party on July 29, 2018

On July 29, 2018 at approximately 4:05am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a large fight at Farmer John’s Summer Party in progress on Forward Road, North Dundas Township.

Police are conducting a criminal investigation into multiple assaults where a male and female victim received serious facial injuries by unknown suspects.

 SD&G OPP are looking for information regarding the assaults and are seeking any video footage that party goers may have filmed
