Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are asking for information about a Robbery with violence

On June 5, 2020 at approximately 12:02 p.m., members of the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a robbery in a residence on Beaupre Road in South Glengarry Township.

The investigation has determined that two individuals, wearing disguises, broke into the residence and held the victim against his will.

The suspects Stole several items from the location, two air pistols, one air gun (rifle), cell phone, digital camera, a Medieval Silver metal helmet, two leather holsters with belt and other electronics.

Officers responding to the call were unable to locate the individuals responsible for the robbery.

Description of the suspects are as follows

-              Two white French-speaking males

-             18-25 years old

-              Both wearing jeans with dark t-shirts

-              wearing what was described as homemade surgical masks.

The victim suffered no injuries.

Fraud – Feb 4, 2020

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Cornwall Police Service asking for information to identify two individuals.

A call out requesting public assistance has been made regarding a fraud where the individuals pictured used a credit card that did not belong to them.

Graffiti – Jan 31, 2020

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are asking for information about graffiti discovered on a public building in South Dundas

On January 31, 2020 at approximately 8:56 p.m Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a public building (Beach Building) being damaged by graffiti on Elizabeth Drive in South Dundas Township. Investigation revealed that unknown culprits caused damage to the building in the previous hours.

Stolen Truck – Jan 7, 2020

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are asking for information about a stolen truck in South Dundas

On January 7, 2020 at approximately 5:30 a.m, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a truck from a residence on Brinston Road, South Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight January 6-7, 2020 a 2018 White Ford F150 (plated- Ontario –FLINT58) was removed from the property.

Fail to Remain – Dec 31, 2019

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are asking for information about a fail to remain in South Dundas.

The Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is continuing to investigate a Fail to Remain Motor Vehicle /Pedestrian Collision that occurred at approximately 11:00 p.m. on December 31, 2019.

At that time responding officers located an adult pedestrian suffering from non- life threatening injuries on County Road 2, South Dundas Township. The individual was transported to hospital.

Investigation to date reveals that the victim was operating a motorized vehicle (wheelchair) on County Road 2 and had been struck by an unknown vehicle, which then left the scene.

Boat Theft – Sept 3-5, 2019



Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are asking for information about a theft of a boat in South Glengarry.

On September 5, 2019 at approximately 9:31am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a Boat being taken from a property on County Road 2 ,South Glengarry Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime between –  September 3-5, 2019- culprits attended the property and removed a 16 foot LUND fishing boat with a 70hp Evinrude motor on it.

Break In – June 18-19, 2019

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are asking for information about serious of break ins.

On June 18, 2019 at approximately 4:47am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of an alarm at a business on County Road 43 in Monkland, North Stormont Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime shortly prior to the call to police, culprits entered a business and removed a large amount of tobacco products

On June 19, 2019 at approximately 8:40am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break in to multiple boat houses and boats on Boathouse Road in Iroquois, South Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime shortly prior to the call to police,  culprits entered a business and removed a large amount of boating and fishing products

Vehicle Thefts – June 20, 2019

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are asking for information about a theft of five (5) pick-up trucks from a dealership in Ingleside

On June 20, 2019 at approximately 2:31pm, Stormont Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of multiple trucks being taken from a business on County Road 2, South Stormont Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime in the overnight hours unknown individuals attended and removed:

       2019 Ford F150 – pick-up truck – Red   

        2019 Ford F150 – pick-up truck   –  green

        2019 Ford F150 – pick-up truck – silver

        2019 Ford F150 – pick-up truck – black

        2019 Ford F250 – pick-up truck – black

Investigation indicated that someone gained access to the City of Cornwall Public Works yard on Saturday June 1, 2019. Numerous vehicles were broken into and CPS are asking for assistance to identify an individual

Stolen Tractor – May 13,19

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a theft of a tractor and trailer in North Stormont Township

Investigation indicated that sometime between May 11, 2019 & May 13, 2019 unknown individuals attended a residence and removed a Massey Ferguson tractor with snow blower and a front loading bucket  attached. The culprits removed the tractor and a trailer from the victim as well.
