Boat Theft – Sept 3-5, 2019



Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are asking for information about a theft of a boat in South Glengarry.

On September 5, 2019 at approximately 9:31am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a Boat being taken from a property on County Road 2 ,South Glengarry Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime between –  September 3-5, 2019- culprits attended the property and removed a 16 foot LUND fishing boat with a 70hp Evinrude motor on it.

Break In – June 18-19, 2019

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are asking for information about serious of break ins.

On June 18, 2019 at approximately 4:47am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of an alarm at a business on County Road 43 in Monkland, North Stormont Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime shortly prior to the call to police, culprits entered a business and removed a large amount of tobacco products

On June 19, 2019 at approximately 8:40am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break in to multiple boat houses and boats on Boathouse Road in Iroquois, South Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime shortly prior to the call to police,  culprits entered a business and removed a large amount of boating and fishing products

Vehicle Thefts – June 20, 2019

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are asking for information about a theft of five (5) pick-up trucks from a dealership in Ingleside

On June 20, 2019 at approximately 2:31pm, Stormont Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of multiple trucks being taken from a business on County Road 2, South Stormont Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime in the overnight hours unknown individuals attended and removed:

       2019 Ford F150 – pick-up truck – Red   

        2019 Ford F150 – pick-up truck   –  green

        2019 Ford F150 – pick-up truck – silver

        2019 Ford F150 – pick-up truck – black

        2019 Ford F250 – pick-up truck – black

Investigation indicated that someone gained access to the City of Cornwall Public Works yard on Saturday June 1, 2019. Numerous vehicles were broken into and CPS are asking for assistance to identify an individual

Stolen Tractor – May 13,19

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a theft of a tractor and trailer in North Stormont Township

Investigation indicated that sometime between May 11, 2019 & May 13, 2019 unknown individuals attended a residence and removed a Massey Ferguson tractor with snow blower and a front loading bucket  attached. The culprits removed the tractor and a trailer from the victim as well.

Multiple Thefts – March 12,19

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about multiple reports of vehicle thefts in North Dundas Township

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight (between 12:00am-1:00am) March 12, 2019 unknown individuals attended a business and removed a 2018 John Deere 3025E Green Tractor, shortly thereafter another theft occurred on Dawley Drive, North Dundas where a 2007 Yellow 1996 Skidoo and 2007 black Blaz Trailer was removed from another business. 

A black Chevrolet Z71 pick-up truck was captured on video with two individuals, during the first theft and the same Chevrolet truck returned a short time later with another truck (Ford).

Theft of Gas – 2018

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a person of interest

Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating multiple reports of theft of gas at the Highland Esso, located on County Road 20 in North Glengarry Township. The first incident dates back to January 2017and have continued to December 2018.

The suspect commits the thefts in the same pattern:

The vehicle will pull up to the furthest pump from the store during a busy time, exit the vehicle and fuel up without ever looking up towards the cameras. The vehicle will then drive past the Tim Hortons drive-thru, around the back of the store and exit through the North entrance.

Description of the male suspect:

– 5 foot 6 inches – 5 foot 7 inches

-wearing a hoodie with a ball cap

– does not look at the camera

 – Red Hyundai Veloster

Theft – Dec 15, 18

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a person of interest

On December 15, 2018 at approximately 1:30pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of items being taken from a store (Rick’s Pioneer Gas Bar) on County Road 3, South Mountain, Ontario.

Investigation indicated that a person of interest entered the store and removed various items.

SD&G OPP officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in this theft.

Robbery – Nov 11, 2018

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the The Cornwall Community Police are asking for information about a robbery that occurred in Cornwall on November 11th, 2018

The Cornwall Police Service is looking to identify the man pictured below in relation to a robbery at a Thirteenth Street business on November 11th, 2018.

The man is described as follows:

• Caucasian man
• Approximately 55 years old
• Wearing a dark baseball cap with a white crest on it
• Black jacket and grey jeans
• Black and white Nike shoes

Armed Robbery – November 17, 2018

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about an armed robbery that occurred in Iroquois

On November 17, 2018 at approximately 3:38am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, with the assistance of OPP Canine Unit and SD&G Crime Unit, responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Circle K convenience store in the Village of Iroquois, South Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated two unknown suspects entered the store with a weapon and demanded cash. The Suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction from the scene with a quantity of Canadian Currency and tobacco products.

No injuries resulted.

The suspects are described as follows;

1st-  Male, wearing a green, plaid overall suit with a blue toque and an orange face mask.

2nd – Male wearing a black jacket with a black scarf covering his face
