On March 15, 2018 at approximately 6:07am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a business on Laggan Glenelg Road, North Glengarry Township.

 Investigation indicated that sometime overnight March 14-15, 2018 culprit(s) entered a business (garage) and removed copper wire, fittings and  electrical wire

Stolen Vehicles – Feb 24, 18

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about the theft of two vehicles in South Dundas & North Stormont

On February 24, 2018 at approximately 9:38am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a Car from a Residence on Dundas Street, South Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight – February 23, 2018 a 2009 silver Ford focus with Ontario Licence Plate (CCTJ629) was removed from the property.

On February 26, 2018 at approximately 6:52am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a Car from a Residence on Crysler Station, North Stormont Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight – February 25-26, 2018 a 2013 Red Hyundai Elantra with Ontario Licence Plate (BPYD865) was removed from the property.

On February 20, 2018 at approximately 11:12am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of an ATV from a Business on Flagg Road, South Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight February 18-19, 2018 a 2012 Black and Yellow Canam Outlander RMR 2 seater ATV was removed from the property.

Over the past weekend February 18, 2018 between 1:00am- 7:00am an incident of mischief (vandalism) took place outside a residence on Sir James Morris Drive in South Dundas Township.

A Dodge Journey had all four tires slashed by an unknown suspect(s).The SD&G OPP are looking the public’s assistance in solving this disrespectful Act

Robbery – Dec 18,17

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Cornwall Community Police Service are asking for information about the robbery that occurred on December 18th, 2017

The Cornwall Community Police Service is looking to identify two individuals who forced their way into GTS Gas & Convenience located at 601 Tollgate Road on December 18th, 2017.

Both individuals were wearing hoodies and gloves at the time of the incident and left the area with a large amount of cigarettes.

Failure to Remain – Jan 7,18

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a break and enter in South Stormont

The Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is continuing to investigate a Fail To Remain Motor Vehicle/Pedestrian Collision that occurred at approximately 5:53 p.m. on January 7, 2018.

At that time responding officers located an adult female pedestrian suffering from serious non- threatening injuries on Shannette Road, South Dundas Township. The female was transported to hospital.

Investigation to date reveals that the female victim had been struck by an unknown vehicle, which then left the scene. 

The vehicle description from  a witness is as follows: small, black(possibly dark blue), four door car with oval type headlights (possibly a newer model).   The vehicle was last seen turning onto Strader Road, South Dundas.

Break in – Dec 13,17

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a break and enter in South Stormont

On December 13, 2017 at approximately 5:12pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in progress at a residence on Kent Crescent, South Stormont Township.

The homeowner returned home to find an unknown male inside the home.  The suspect then fled the location without removing any property. The male is described as: white male, 30-40 years old, wearing a black jacket and white Nike running shoes.  SD&G K9 Unit attended with negative results
