On September 5, 2017 at approximately 12:59am SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a Break and Enter at a Business on Highway 138, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that on September 5, 2017 culprit(s) forcibly entered the business but did not remove any items
On September 5, 2017 at approximately 9:48am SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a Break and Enter at a Business on Highway 138, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that overnight on September 4-5, 2017 culprit(s) forcibly entered the business and removed Canadian currency and electronics.

Stolen Vehicle – August 21,17
Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a vehicle theft, South Stormont Township
On August 21, 2017 at approximately 11:23 pm, Stormont Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a vehicle being taken from a property on Wales Road , South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that on August 21 a 2001 Beige 4 door Toyota Camry (plate #ATJN 571) was stolen.

On August 21, 2017 at approximately 11:22am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a business on Seibert Road, South Dundas Township.
Investigation indicated that sometime overnight August 19-21, 2017 culprit(s) entered the business and removed several electronics.

Stolen Trailer – August 8,17
UPDATE August 22, 2017
STOLEN TRAILER RECOVERED
(South Stormont) – On August 8, 2017 at approximately 6:29pm, Stormont Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a Utility Trailer being taken from a property on County Road 2, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that overnight (August 7-8, 2017) a 2008 Roadmaster RMU Black Utility trailer with various power tools inside was stolen.
On August 12 2017, members from SD&G OPP executed a Search Warrant on a residence on Sixth Street West in Cornwall, Ontario. This resulted in the recovery of the stolen trailer and the various power tools.
Brandon Champagne (22) of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
– Possession of Property obtained by crime ( 2 counts)
– Fail to Comply with condition of Undertaking
Julie Samson-Wood (40) of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of Property obtained by crime (2 counts)
Barry Michael Wood (49) of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of Property obtained by crime ( 2 counts)
– Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon

Robbery – July 9,17
Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the Cornwall Community Police Service are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an ongoing robbery investigation.
Police responded to MacMillan’s convenience store on Marlborough Street early morning of Sunday July 9th, where at about 4:30 a.m. a male wearing a disguise demanded money from the store’s employee while brandishing a knife. The suspect headed south on Marlborough Street after leaving the store with a quantity of cash.
He is described as a Caucasian man, about 30 years old. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing black-and-white bandana pattern pyjama pants, a black balaclava, red gloves with mulit-coloured fingers and black Air Jordan runners.

Theft – July 5,17
Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a trailer theft in South Dundas Township
On July 4, 2017 at approximately 8:23 pm, SD&G OPP responded to a report of the theft from a property on Savings Street, South Dundas, Ontario. Investigation indicated that sometime between (June 20,2017-July 4, 2017), 2 ten foot Pelican kayaks, one green and one yellow, as well as their paddles were removed from the property.

On July 3, 2017 at approximately 8:49 am, SD&G OPP responded to a report of the theft from a property on Highway 138, North Stormont, Ontario. Investigation indicated that sometime overnight between(July 1-2, 2017), a 16 foot Silver Legion 716 Utility Trailer (plate M6086N, Ontario) was removed from the property.
