Thefts – April 25-26,17

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a series of thefts in North Dundas

Overnight (April 25-26, 2017) several parked vehicles were entered at residences on Faubert Avenue, South Street and Lori Lane in the Village of Chesterville, North Dundas Township. A quantity of loose change and sunglasses were taken.

Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) wants to remind owners to lock their vehicles and store valuable out of sight.

Failure to Remain – December 15,16

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a failure to remain in South Dundas

SD&G OPP are requesting public assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a fail to remain collision on a property at Plaza Drive in the Village of Iroquois, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that on December 15, 2016 at approximately 4:41am – a darker coloured GMC pick-up struck a yellow metal post in the parking area and left the scene (near Ross Video).

Tractor Theft – March 2017

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a theft in South Glengarry.

In the previous two (2) weeks, a “Case” tractor with an older model Bush Hog attachment was stolen from a property on Concession 8, South Glengarry Township.

Trailer Theft – March 31,17

Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers and the SD&G OPP are asking for information about a trailer theft in North Stormont.

On March 31, 2017 – between 11:00am and 3:00pm, a white 2011 “Haulin” enclosed utility cargo trailer (6″x10″) was stolen from a property on Gravel Hill Road, North Stormont Township. The unit is a single axle with white rims, side access door and rear barn-style doors.

Theft – February 28,17

During the day of February 28, 2017 (11:30am – 6:00pm), a white 2012 Dodge Ram pick-up truck (“Evergreen” logo on back window, broken rear window and damage to rear bumper) and equipment was stolen from a property on Flagg Road, South Dundas Township.

 

The equipment is described as follows;

 

– Champion 4000 watts generator, yellow

– Mastercraft 4000 watts generator, blue

– Miller 15,000 watts generator/welder, red/black

– Morbark chipper knives (used for wood chipper)

– Vector cutting torch set, bronze in colour with red/green hoses

– Fein hand grinder, orange

– Maxim and Mastercraft impact wrenches, grey/blue

– Alemite and Dewalt grease guns

– Assorted hand tools

Armed Robbery – Jan 13

ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS SOUGHT

On January 13, 2017 at approximately 10:55pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, with the assistance of OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP K-9 members responded to a report of an armed robbery at a business (Mac’s Milk) on Plaza Drive in the Village of Iroquois, South Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated that an adult male and female entered the store when the male brandished a suspected firearm at a female employee. The suspects fled west of the location with a quantity of cash, lottery tickets and cigarettes. A silver Volkswagen vehicle is possibly involved. They are described as follows;

Male: white, approximately 25 years, 5’5”, slim build wearing a black toque and black t-shirt with a logo.

Female: white, approximately 25 years, 5’3”, heavy build, brown hair wearing a dark hat and bandana
